The Malawi
Electoral Commission would like to inform all electoral stakeholders and the
general public that it has received over 310 new registration kits valued at
more than $550,000.
The
equipment has been purchased by Development Partners under the basket fund
arrangement coordinated by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The
Commission wishes to express its profound gratitude to the Development Partners
for this timely support which has enabled the Commission to deploy 673 teams in
the fourth phase of voter registration against 464 in the third phase and
earlier phases.
